Emma Highfield (she/her) is a primarily 35mm film photographer working in the darkroom while gradually exploring digital processes. Her work centers around themes of nostalgia, humanity, connection, and femininity, she enjoys capturing intimate moments that evoke a sense of unity. Emma’s current practice consists mainly of analog techniques, with a strong emphasis on process and emotion. Looking ahead, she aims to collaborate with other artists and share her work more widely through exhibitions and creative community engagement.

Emma recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Advertising and a Minor in Art with a Photography emphasis. Currently Emma is in Minneapolis, Minnesota seeking out commercial and freelance photography opportunities.
